Eligibility Criteria for IBPS SO Recruitment 2026
1. Age Limit (As on 01/07/2026)
Minimum Age: 20 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2006 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation will be applicable as per Government Guidelines (SC/ST - 5 years, OBC - 3 years, PwBD - 10 years).
2. Educational Qualification
IT Officer (Scale-I): 4-year Engineering/Technology Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR Post Graduate Degree
in similar fields. Agricultural Field Officer (AFO): 4-year Degree (Graduation) in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Science/ Fishery Science/ Agro-Forestry/ Food Technology/ Agricultural Engineering, etc.
Rajbhasha Adhikari: Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR Post Graduate degree in Sanskrit with Hindi and English as subjects.
Law Officer: A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.
HR/Personnel Officer: Graduate and Two Years Full-time Post Graduate degree or Two Years Full-time Post Graduate diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR / HRD/ Social Work / Labour Law.

The application fee must be paid online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, UPI, etc.
SC / ST / PwBD Candidates: Rs. 175/-
All Other Candidates (General/OBC/EWS): Rs. 850/-

Click on "Click here for New Registration" and enter your basic details like Name, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
A provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated.

Upload scanned copies of your Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Hand Written Declaration.
Pay the required Application Fee through online mode.
